Built for the Battle

After the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Millions of brave American men answered the call to fight. They quickly deployed to liberate Europe and the South Pacific from the tyranny of the Nazis and the empire of Japan. For the first time in US history, millions of American women left their homes and family farms to take jobs in factories mass producing the tanks, aircraft, and ships needed for this global fight for freedom. Join us for our new series, Built for the Battle, which uses the stories of these brave women in the 1940s as a backdrop for exploring the stories of some of the remarkable women of the Bible.
